Company Description FinQube Accounting provides strategic, technology-enabled accounting support to UK accounting practices, combining dedicated remote teams with a proprietary AI review platform.

FinQube’s teams cover bookkeeping, accounts finalisation, VAT and MTD compliance, payroll and auto enrolment, corporation tax, self assessment, management accounts, and year-end preparation, fully integrated with tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Dext. They support sole practitioners and firms with up to 20 staff, offering flexible ad hoc support, fixed monthly retainers, and full-time embedded accountants. This model is designed as an extended team with robust review infrastructure rather than traditional outsourcing.

Role Description The Senior Accountant (UK) will be responsible for managing a portfolio of UK accounting practice clients, delivering end-to-end accounting and compliance services in line with UK regulations and firm standards. Day-to-day work includes supervising bookkeeping and accounts preparation, reviewing accounts finalisation, overseeing VAT and MTD filings, and handling corporation tax and self-assessment returns. The role involves maintaining explicit communication with client firms on status, queries, and deadlines.

The Senior

Accountant will contribute to process improvements, support onboarding of new clients,



and help refine workflows across Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext, and other tools.

This is a full-time hybrid role with vacany open in both Ahmedabad and Bangalore branch, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Budget : 4.5L to 6L based on experience

Qualifications

- Strong technical accounting skills for UK GAAP, accounts finalisation, and year-end preparation, including experience with management accounts and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in UK accounting and Tac including bookkeeping , VAT, MTD, corporation tax
- Hands-on experience with cloud accounting and practice tools such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext, and related UK compliance software.
- Demonstrated ability to review and supervise work of other team members, ensuring quality control, accuracy, and timely delivery across multiple client engagements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a focus on process improvement and efficient workflow management.
- Clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with UK-based clients and distributed teams.
- Relevant skilled qualification : Bachelors in Commerce or any relevant degree in accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in UK accounting.
