About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and financial statements, along with hands-on experience using accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and general accounting.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Handle GST returns, TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, customer ledger reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations wherever applicable.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, expense tracking, and payment processing.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Maintain books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary financial records and documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial records.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses,



and financial transactions to maintain accuracy and financial control.
- Handle payroll accounting and statutory deductions, including PF and ESIC, wherever applicable.
- Identify discrepancies in accounting records and ensure timely resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field; M.Com or CA Inter qualification will be an added advantage.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Tally, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of income tax compliance, statutory audits, and applicable accounting standards.
- Experience managing complete accounting operations independently.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates with experience handling end-to-end accounting operations are preferred.
- Experience in preparing financial statements and managing statutory compliance independently.
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS reconciliations, vendor payments, and outstanding collections.
- Candidates with experience in trading, manufacturing, logistics, or service-based organizations will be preferred.
