Senior Accountant – Furniture & Home Appliances Showroom

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations of our furniture and home appliances showroom. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage daily transactions, inventory-related accounts, supplier payments, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Handle cash, bank transactions, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring.
- Manage supplier accounts, outstanding payments, customer receivables, and credit sales.
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock purchases, and discrepancies in coordination with the store team.
- Manage GST-related records, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial reports.
- Monitor expenses, identify financial discrepancies, and support cost-control measures.
- Reconcile showroom sales with billing software, POS systems,



and bank deposits.
- Coordinate with management, sales, purchase, and inventory teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, audits, and year-end closing.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience; retail or showroom experience is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of GST, taxation, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, accounting software, and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and supplier/customer account management.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, responsibility, and analytical ability.
- Ability to work independently and handle financial information confidentially.

Preferred Candidate: An experienced professional capable of maintaining accurate accounts, controlling financial discrepancies, and ensuring complete financial transparency across showroom operations. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
