Role Overview:

Manufac is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the books of Manufac and its group companies, whose businesses cover IT services, metals, and manufacturing. You will handle the books of 3 companies to start, which may grow to 5. You will own day-to-day accounting in BUSY across these companies: voucher entry, bank reconciliation, receivables and payables, GST, TDS, payroll, statutory filings, inventory, and monthly MIS.

You will also work closely with our external CA on audits, tax returns, and ROC filings. The role is based in our Gurugram office, with occasional visits to our other offices in NCR.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain the books of accounts for multiple group companies in BUSY: sales, purchase, payment, receipt, journal, contra, and debit and credit note entries, with the right ledgers and cost centres.
- Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card accounts regularly, and sort out differences quickly.
- Raise sales invoices and follow up on collections, check vendor bills against purchase orders and goods receipts, plan vendor payments, and keep customer and vendor ledgers reconciled.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B), match input tax credit with GSTR-2B, generate e-invoices and e-way bills, and help with annual returns (GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C).
- Calculate and deduct TDS (and TCS where it applies), deposit it on time, file quarterly returns, and issue Form 16 and Form 16A.
- Process monthly payroll:



attendance inputs, salary sheets, reimbursements, and full and final settlements.
- Handle PF, ESI, and Professional Tax: monthly challans, returns, and employee registrations.
- Maintain inventory in BUSY for the metals and manufacturing units: stock items, batches, BOM, production entries, job work (inward and outward), and stock valuation.
- Support costing: material consumption, scrap, yield, and product or job costing, and flag gaps between book stock and physical stock.
- Prepare monthly MIS for each company: P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables and payables ageing, and tax liability summaries.
- Close the books every month, quarter, and year, with accruals, prepaid expenses, provisions, and depreciation.
- Work with the external CA on statutory and tax audits, income tax returns, advance tax, ROC filings, and replies to GST and income tax notices. Prepare the schedules and documents they need.
- Record inter-company transactions as they come up, and keep balances between group companies matched.
- Keep bills, vouchers, and records organized and audit ready, and follow the internal approval steps for payments.

Expected to Know





- BUSY accounting software in depth: multi-company setup, masters, vouchers, GST and TDS features, inventory, BOM and production, reports, and data backup
- GST portal, e-invoice and e-way bill portals, TRACES, and the Income Tax portal
- EPFO, ESIC, and Professional Tax portals
- MS Excel for reconciliations and MIS: pivot tables, VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS
- Net banking, including bulk payment uploads

Expected to Learn on the Job:
- How each group company works across IT services, metals, and manufacturing, and how each one bills, buys, and stocks goods
- Our chart of accounts, cost centres, and payment approval process

What We Look For:

- Prior hands-on work in Tally (Tally Prime or ERP 9) is strongly preferred
- Experience managing books for more than one company at the same time
- Experience with trading or manufacturing accounts, including inventory and stock valuation
- Positive working knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and PT rules and due dates
- Careful with numbers and deadlines, and well organized
- Clear communication in English and Hindi with staff, vendors, banks, and the CA
- Willing to travel to group offices in NCR

Nice to Have:

- Experience in metals or manufacturing companies, including job work, scrap, and BOM
- Experience moving data between Tally and BUSY, or setting up new companies in BUSY
- CA Inter, CMA Inter, or M.Com
- Experience handling tax audits, GST audits, or department assessments
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for building MIS reports
