Senior Accounts Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Accounts Manager to lead and manage our accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, leadership skills, and proficiency in handling multi-functional activities within the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of accounting professionals to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

- Financial Oversight: Manage and oversee the entire bookkeeping process, including maintaining accurate records in a computerized accounting environment and ensuring timely data entry of daily receipts and payments.

- Finalization of Financials: Review and finalize PL accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Statutory Compliance: Handle GST, TDS workings, and online filings while monitoring overall tax compliance and assisting with income tax return submissions.

- Reconciliation and Reporting: Prepare and review bank, supplier, and inter-company reconciliation statements. Ensure accurate and timely monthly and annual closures.

- MIS Budgeting: Generate MIS reports, manage budgets, and present key financial insights to stakeholders for decision-making.





- Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor internal accounting controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.

- Audit Support: Work closely with auditors, ensuring proper documentation and support for internal and external audits.

- Payments Management: Oversee local and overseas payments, manage receivables and payables, and follow up to ensure timely settlements.

- Petty Cash Banking: Monitor petty cash usage and handle banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Candidate Requirements

- Educational Qualification: B.Com /M.Com / CA Inter / CA or an equivalent degree.

- Experience: 3 to 10 years of experience in an accounting role, with at least 2+ years in a senior or managerial position handling multi-functional accounting activities.

- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in accounting software preferred Tally Prime, MS Excel (MIS reports, financial analysis), Word, and PowerPoint.

- Statutory Knowledge: Robust understanding of GST, TDS, and income tax-related filings.

- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead a team, set priorities, and manage deadlines efficiently.

- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
