Job OverviewProfcyma Career Solutions LLP is looking for an experienced and target-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor with expertise in selling domestic and international university programs. The ideal candidate should have strong counselling and sales skills, experience in online degree programs, and the ability to guide students and working professionals toward suitable academic and career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and working professionals regarding domestic and international university programs.
- Sell and promote Online MBA, BBA, BCA, MCA, executive education, postgraduate, and other professional courses.
- Handle course sales for international universities and institutions offering online degrees and global academic programs.
- Explain university rankings, accreditations, course structures, specialisations, eligibility criteria, tuition fees, scholarships, and payment options.
- Understand students’ career aspirations and recommend appropriate programs based on their professional goals and budgets.
- Manage leads through inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM platforms.
- Convert prospective students into successful enrolments and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with university admission teams for applications, documentation, and enrolment processing.
- Maintain accurate lead data, counselling records, and sales reports in the CRM.
- Handle objections related to fees, university reputation,



course recognition, and program suitability.
- Ensure transparent communication regarding international university credentials, accreditation, recognition, and program delivery.
- Support junior counsellors with product training, sales techniques, and objection handling.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in academic counselling, EdTech sales, education consultancy, or university course sales.
- Prior experience selling courses offered by international universities is highly preferred.
- Experience promoting international online degree programs, global MBA programs, executive education, or postgraduate qualifications.
- Knowledge of domestic and international higher education markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, counselling, and closing skills.
- Solid understanding of lead management, CRM systems, and sales conversion processes.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment and consistently achieve enrolment targets.

Educational Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Relevant experience in international education sales or university admissions will be an added advantage.
