Role: Senior SDET / SDET Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior SDET with strong software development and coding skills, excellent SQL knowledge, and hands-on expertise in API automation testing. The ideal candidate must be proficient in either Python or Java and capable of developing automation frameworks while contributing to software development and quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Python or Java.
2. Perform API automation testing using tools and frameworks such as REST Assured, Postman, or equivalent.
3. Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and database validation.
4. Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
5. Develop automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
6. Validate APIs, backend services, databases, and end-to-end workflows.
7. Identify, debug, and troubleshoot complex technical issues through coding and root-cause analysis.
8. Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA teams to improve product quality.
9. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
10. Review code, improve test coverage, and contribute to engineering best practices.





Required Skills
- Experience: 10+ years in SDET, test automation, or software engineering.
- Programming: Strong coding proficiency in either Python or Java; candidates must demonstrate hands-on coding ability.
- API Automation: Strong experience in REST API automation and validation.
- SQL: Excellent SQL and database testing skills.
- Automation Frameworks: Experience designing or enhancing automation frameworks.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging, analytical, and coding skills.
- Tools: Git, CI/CD tools, Postman, REST Assured, PyTest, or equivalent tools relevant to the chosen language.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of performance testing and test automation best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerized applications.
- Experience in Agile development environments.

Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for an SDET who is excellent in coding, robust in SQL, and highly proficient in API automation . Candidates should have a developer mindset rather than relying only on manual testing or basic automation scripting.

Mandatory: Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python or Java), excellent SQL, and hands-on API automation experience.
