Experience

4+ years of relevant experience in Scala development and Big Data technologies.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Scala / Big Data Developer with strong hands-on experience in Scala, Big Data frameworks, REST services, and SQL. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building and supporting scalable data-processing solutions and REST-based integrations. Experience with Agile methodology and JIRA is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Scala.
- Build and support data-processing solutions using Big Data frameworks.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain REST services and APIs.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries for application and data requirements.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, track work items in JIRA, and contribute to continuous improvement where applicable.

- Scala Advanced proficiency.
- Big Data frameworks – Advanced proficiency.
- REST services – Advanced proficiency.
- SQL – Advanced proficiency.

Good to Have

- UX knowledge.
- Experience working in an Agile methodology and using JIRA.
- PL/SQL knowledge.

Candidate Profile Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, good collaboration and communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
