Are you a high-scoring SAT expert who loves teaching, takes ownership of results, and wants to see students reach their dream universities?

I'm looking for passionate, outcome-driven individuals to join Crimson Education as an SAT Tutor (India).

In this role, you’ll work 1:1 with ambitious Indian students and their families, build personalized prep plans, and guide each student from diagnostic to official score. You’ll own your students’ progress, track it with data, step in early when momentum dips, and keep families informed throughout.

Who would be a great fit?

✅ An official SAT score of 1530+ (99th percentile), with the ability to tutor both Reading & Writing and Math

✅ Previous SAT tutoring experience with documented student score improvements

✅ A degree from a top-30 US university or a top Indian institution (IITs, IISc, St. Stephen’s, LSR, etc.) is beneficial

✅ Fluent, professional English, plus comfort with high-touch family communication via WhatsApp

✅ A coaching mindset: you set the plan, track progress, and keep students and parents informed

Experience with Indian school exam calendars, VIP or concierge-style service, or an established SAT prep provider is a plus.

Role Description The SAT Tutor (India) is a remote, contract role focused on helping students prepare effectively for the SAT exam. In this role, the tutor will deliver one-on-one or small-group online lessons, covering SAT Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, as well as test-taking strategies and time management techniques. The tutor will assess student needs, develop tailored lesson plans, assign practice work, and monitor progress through regular feedback and performance tracking.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting interactive sessions, reviewing practice tests, clarifying concepts, and coordinating with Crimson’s team to ensure a high-quality learner experience. The tutor will also maintain clear communication with students and families regarding learning goals, scheduling, and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong SAT subject-matter expertise,



including high proficiency in SAT Math and SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, with familiarity in current SAT formats and content.
- Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in standardized test preparation or high school-level mathematics and English.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, explain complex concepts clearly, and adapt teaching style to diverse learning needs and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English and a professional, student-centered approach.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital collaboration tools, and remote work, with reliable internet access and suitable home workspace.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple students, track progress, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program, ideally in education, mathematics, English, or a related field; prior experience with US college admissions processes is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible schedule to accommodate students in India and potentially other time zones; commitment to maintaining high ethical and professional standards.
