Role: SAS Viya Engineer

Robust SAS Viya expertise, rather than a general SAS engineering background (given our ongoing migration to Viya). The individual should be capable of working independently on SAS-related activities, with support available from our internal teams on our specific environment and setup.

Must have

- SAS &
- CAS Core:

Advanced Base SAS, SAS Macros, and

Cloud Analytic Services (CAS)

for in-memory parallel data processing and optimization. (

- Data Engineering &

- APIs:

ETL pipeline design, enterprise database connectivity (Snowflake, Postgres, S3).

- Security &

- Administration:

Managing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), user authentication (OIDC, SAML, LDAP), and data governance

Nice to have

- Kubernetes &
- Cloud:

Hands-on experience with

Kubernetes (K8s)

, Helm, Linux, and major cloud providers (

AWS EKS, Azure AKS, or GCP GKE

) to deploy and manage Viya 4 microservices.

- DevOps &

- Infrastructure:

Automation using

Terraform or Ansible

, CI/CD pipeline integration, and monitoring platform health via

Prometheus and Grafana
