: SAP S/4HANA Service Management Lead / Senior Functional Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven SAP S/4HANA Service Management Lead / Senior Functional Consultant with 5 to 12 years of expertise across SAP Customer Service (CS), Service Management (SM), and S/4HANA Service.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing end-to-end Service Management processes in an SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition (PCE) / RISE with SAP environment. You will bridge business requirements and functional architecture, manage cloud service governance, enable AI-driven service insights, and drive continuous optimization across the full service lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Solution Design &
- Implementation
- Design, configure, and deploy S/4HANA Service Management processes across the entire service lifecycle: Engage, Sell, Contract, Plan, Schedule, Execute, Invoice, and Analyze.
- Map end-to-end business requirements to standard S/4HANA Service capabilities, including service quotations, service orders, service contracts, spare parts logistics, resource planning, billing, and analytics.
- Drive adoption of the latest S/4HANA PCE release innovations (e.g., service team determination, advanced execution processes, Fiori applications, and AI-powered service intelligence).
- S/4HANA Private Edition (PCE) Governance
- Operate effectively within the SAP S/4HANA PCE Shared Responsibility Model between the client and SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS).
- Liaise with SAP for system-level operational tasks (e.g., infrastructure management, backups, maintenance, and upgrade administration).
- Lead client-side functional responsibilities, including business process configuration, functional validation, regression testing, and process governance based on SAP’s PCE Roles and Responsibilities framework.
- Service Order &
- Contract Management
- Configure and maintain service contract structures, recurring service billing plans,



and auto-renewal mechanisms.
- Enable flexible billing scenarios, including Resource-Related Billing (RRB), Time &
- Material (T&M;), and Fixed-Price billing models.
- Leverage modern platform features such as service contract template cloning and mass contract change capabilities.
- Service Planning, Execution &
- Logistics Integration
- Set up and optimize workforce planning, resource allocation, dispatching, and field service workflows.
- Configure plant and storage location parameters within service transactions to support multi-plant and multi-location service execution.
- Direct cross-module functional integration between service transactions and procurement (MM), inventory management, shipping, plant maintenance (PM), and follow-on financial postings.
- Data Migration, Testing &
- Integration
- Oversee data preparation, cleansing, transformation, and validation for service master data, active service contracts, and open service orders.
- Utilize the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and standard transition tools tailored for service artifacts.
- Coordinate functional and technical integrations across CRM, SAP Field Service Management (FSM), SAP CS, core logistics, and Finance (FI/CO).
- AI, Analytics &
- Continuous Process Improvement
- Implement embedded AI capabilities (e.g., Joule-assisted summaries, intelligent confirmations, and predictive service insights).
- Design custom Fiori dashboards, operational reports, and KPIs to monitor service performance and profitability.




- Guide business stakeholders through continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of periodic SAP release features.

- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops, author detailed functional specifications (FS), and map target-state business process flows.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams spanning Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Sales.
- Create training collateral, deliver end-user training, and lead hypercare support during deployment phases.

Required Skills &

- Technical Expertise

- Experience: 5–12 years of hands-on experience in SAP CS / SM / S/4HANA Service functional consulting.
- Core Module Competency: Comprehensive knowledge of S/4HANA Service (PCE) core functionality (Service Orders, Service Contracts, Resource-Related Billing, Invoicing, and Execution Logistics).
- Cloud Architecture: Clear operational understanding of the SAP PCE operating model, RISE with SAP frameworks, and cloud service boundary matrices.
- User Experience &
- Extensibility: Proficiency with contemporary SAP Fiori apps, standard OData APIs, and functional extensibility options.
- Integration Touchpoints: Strong cross-functional integration experience with PM, SD, MM, FI/CO, and SAP FSM.

Preferred Qualifications

- Practical project experience with RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition implementations or migrations.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP upgrade governance and release management protocols in PCE environments.
- Official SAP Certification in S/4HANA Service or related SAP functional modules.
