Must-Have

- 15+ years of overall SAP experience
- Solid techno‑functional understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, HR, PP – depending on landscape).
- Proven experience leading application support and enhancement engagements.
- Strong experience in incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA architectures.
- Deep, hands-on expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with the ability to configure, troubleshoot and optimise across the full spectrum of financial accounting and management accounting processes
- Extensive knowledge of SAP Banking Integration including host-to-host connectivity, payment processing, bank statement reconciliation, SWIFT/SEPA standards and treasury interfaces
- Strong domain expertise in global taxation — GST, VAT, withholding tax, E-Invoicing and statutory compliance — with direct experience implementing solutions across multiple jurisdictions
- Proven solution architecture capability — ability to design end-to-end SAP solutions that are scalable, compliant and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and integration patterns
- Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA — both greenfield and migration scenarios — including an understanding of S/4HANA Finance simplifications,



Universal Journal and embedded analytics
- Strong integration architecture experience spanning SAP and non-SAP systems including banking platforms, tax authority interfaces, middleware layers and third-party financial applications

Valuable-to-Have

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations or upgrades.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and monitoring tools.
- ITIL / PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications.
- Experience in global delivery and multi‑vendor environments.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Own SAP solution architecture across Finance, Treasury, Banking, and Tax functions, including design, integration, governance, and architecture reviews.
- Define and oversee integrations between SAP and external systems such as banking platforms, tax authorities, payment hubs, SWIFT, and third-party financial applications.
- Lead solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder discussions while serving as the primary SAP solution authority.
- Manage end-to-end SAP project delivery and operational support, leading functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to ensure high-quality delivery, testing, documentation, and production readiness.
- Provide deep SAP FI/CO expertise covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP),



Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
- Lead banking and treasury solutions including host-to-host connectivity, SWIFT integrations, payment factories, multi-bank reconciliation, cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank account management, and in-house banking.
- Own SAP tax configurations including GST, VAT, withholding tax, e-Invoicing, and country-specific statutory compliance requirements.
- Partner with Tax and Legal teams to implement regulatory changes through SAP configuration, controls, testing, and documentation.

Project & Delivery Skills

- Demonstrated experience in project planning, estimation, delivery tracking, and risk management.
- Experience working in AMS, DevOps, Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
- Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Relevant SAP or project management certifications preferred.
- MBA in Finance or Strategy from a recognised institution
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field as an alternative to qualified qualification
- SAP Certified
