Job : SAP Data Migration Consultant (Remote)

Duration: 6 months Contract, with the possibility of extension for up to 1 year based on project requirements and performance.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with expertise in the Deals and Billing domain. The candidate will be responsible for data migration planning, mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, and loading of business data into SAP systems, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements and define data migration strategies for the Deals and Billing areas.
- Understand business processes related to deal management, pricing, contracts, billing, and invoicing.
- Perform data mapping, data transformation, cleansing, and reconciliation between legacy systems and SAP.
- Develop and execute data migration programs using SAP migration tools and relevant ETL solutions.
- Work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to resolve data migration issues.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks during mock and final migrations.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover activities, and post-go-live data migration issues.
- Prepare data migration documentation, mapping specifications, validation reports, and reconciliation results.




- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and migration timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in SAP data migration, preferably in the Deals and Billing domain.
- Solid understanding of SAP business processes related to deals, pricing, contracts, billing, and invoicing.
- Experience in data extraction, transformation, mapping, cleansing, and loading.
- Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools such as:
- SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
- SAP Data Services (BODS)
- SAP LT Replication Server (SLT), where applicable
- LSMW or other relevant migration tools
- Experience with data reconciliation, validation, and defect resolution.
- Good knowledge of SAP tables, data structures, and integration points relevant to Deals and Billing.
- Experience in mock migrations, cutover planning, and production deployment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to the client location on an as-needed basis

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or transformation projects.
- Experience migrating data from legacy systems to SAP.
- Knowledge of SAP SD, BRIM, Subscription Billing, or other relevant billing solutions.
- Experience with SAP BTP or third-party ETL tools.
- SAP certification in relevant modules or data migration is an added advantage.
