We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) . The candidate should have 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong exposure to S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData, RAP, and Fiori-related backend development .

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications using ABAP and RAP .
- Develop applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) .
- Work extensively on Managed and Unmanaged RAP scenarios .
- Develop and maintain CDS Views, CDS View Entities, Behavior Definitions, Behavior Implementations, Service Definitions, and Service Bindings .
- Develop and expose OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Work on ABAP on HANA development and performance optimization.
- Develop and enhance Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF/RICEFW) .
- Work with BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs .
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, code optimization, and performance tuning.
- Support integration between SAP S/4HANA and external applications.
- Follow SAP development standards, Clean Core principles , and reusable development practices.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, Fiori/UI5 developers, integration teams, and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

- 7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience .




- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP .
- Solid hands-on development experience with RAP – RESTful Application Programming Model .
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA .
- Hands-on expertise in ABAP on HANA .
- Strong knowledge of CDS Views / CDS View Entities .
- Experience with Behavior Definitions and Behavior Implementations .
- Experience with Service Definitions and Service Bindings .
- Strong experience in OData services .
- Good knowledge of Fiori application backend development .
- Strong experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) .
- Experience with RICEF/RICEFW objects, BAPIs, RFCs, BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancements .
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with SAP BTP / ABAP Environment (Steampunk) .
- Knowledge of Fiori Elements .
- Experience with Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools) .
- Understanding of Clean Core and extensibility concepts .
- Knowledge of AMDP and HANA optimization techniques .
- Experience with SAP APIs and integration technologies .
- Exposure to S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
