Role Summary

We are seeking a Safety Officer to promote and maintain safe working practices across our construction projects. The successful candidate will identify site hazards, support the implementation of safety controls, conduct inspections, and work with project teams to meet applicable safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Review method statements, job safety analyses, and permit-to-work requirements before high-risk activities begin.

Monitor work at height, lifting operations, excavation, electrical work, and the use of heavy equipment.

Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training for employees and subcontractors.

Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective actions.

Maintain inspection reports, training records, incident reports, and other safety documentation.

Work with project managers, supervisors,



and subcontractors to resolve safety concerns.

Support emergency preparedness through drills, response plans, and equipment checks.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of safety experience in the construction industry.

Knowledge of construction hazards, risk assessments, and applicable health and safety requirements.

Experience conducting site inspections, delivering training, and investigating incidents.

Strong communication, recordkeeping, and problem-solving skills.

Relevant safety certification is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
