We are Hiring for Below Positions for Maharashtra Road Projects

Job Role : Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Safety

Job Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Qualification: B.Tech any Specialization

Safety Certification is Mandatory ( IOSH, NEBOSH, ADIS, PDIS & Industrial Safety)

Pre-Design & Planning Stage

- Road Safety Audits (RSAs): Perform formal Road Safety Audits across project phases to identify geometric and layout flaws.
- Collision & Data Analysis: Analyze historical crash data, traffic volumes, and speed patterns to locate high-risk blackspots.
- Design Review: Evaluate engineering blueprints to ensure transparent separation between vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, proper sightlines, and compliant gradients. [1, 2, 3]

Construction & Operational Stage

- Traffic Management Plans (TMPs): Design and approve temporary detour layouts, signage, barricades, and lighting to protect active work zones from public traffic. [1]
- Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment: Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and site inspections for heavy machinery, trenching, paving, and working near live traffic. [1, 2, 3]




- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure alignment with national and local safety codes (such as OSHA, ISO 45001, or regional road standards like IRC/MoRTH in India or DMRB internationally). [1, 2]
- Contractor & Permit Safety: Oversee permit-to-work systems, high-risk activity approvals, and subcontractor safety compliance. [1]

Monitoring, Investigation & Reporting

- Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analyses for workplace injuries, near-misses, or public road collisions on site.
- Safety Audits & Patrols: Conduct regular field patrols, equipment checks, and PPE enforcement.
- Stakeholder Training: Conduct safety briefings, emergency response drills, and worker education programs. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
