Role & responsibilities

- Program and teach Yaskawa robots for ABS sheet trimming applications.

- Develop and modify CNC trimming programs for thermoformed plastic components.

- Perform robot path teaching, TCP setup, user frame creation, and tool calibration.

- Optimize robot and CNC programs to improve cycle time, quality, and productivity.

- Support new product launches, trials, and process validation.

- Troubleshoot robot, CNC, tooling, and process-related issues.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

- Maintain program backups, setup sheets, and process documentation.

- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Hands-on experience with Yaskawa Robot Programming & Teaching.

- Experience in CNC Programming and trimming applications.

- Knowledge of ABS sheet trimming processes.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;

- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, and robot I/O systems.
