Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Revit Designer (Plumbing) to create detailed 3D BIM models, schematic layouts, and production/construction drawings for building plumbing systems (drainage, domestic water supply, rainwater harvesting, and fire protection). The ideal candidate will work closely with MEP engineers to ensure design accuracy, spatial coordination, and compliance with local building codes.

Key Responsibilities

- 3D BIM Modeling: Create detailed Revit models for cold/hot water piping, sanitary drainage, vent systems, stormwater, and plumbing equipment.
- Drawing Production: Generate accurate MEP construction drawings, pipe schematics,



riser diagrams, and shop drawings from engineering roughs.
- Clash Detection & Coordination: Perform clash detection using Navisworks/Revit and coordinate piping layouts with Architectural, Structural, and HVAC discipline models.
- Quantity Takeoffs: Extract material schedules, pipe lengths, and fixture counts directly from the Revit model.
- Code & Standards Compliance: Ensure all modeling aligns with relevant local plumbing codes, IPC/UPC standards, and company BIM standards.

Key Requirements

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Domain Knowledge: Robust understanding of plumbing pipe sizing, slope requirements, fixture schedules, and pump room/plant layouts.
- Experience: 2–5+ years in BIM plumbing design for commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Plumbing Engineering (or relevant BIM certification).
