We are looking for an energetic and customer-friendly Retail Sales Executive to join our footwear store at HiLITE Mall, Kozhikode.
The role involves interacting with customers, understanding their requirements, helping them choose the right products and ensuring a great in-store shopping experience.
Along with store sales, the team member will also support simple store-level marketing activities to help increase local awareness and customer visits.
Freshers who are confident, energetic and interested in retail sales are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Customer Experience
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the store
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
- Explain product features, materials, comfort and pricing
- Help customers with size selection and product trials
- Handle billing and basic store activities
- Maintain proper product display and store presentation
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Support stock checking and product arrangement
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally
- Work towards daily and monthly sales targets
Store Marketing Support
- Support simple marketing activities to increase local store awareness
- Create or coordinate basic Instagram Stories/Reels from the store
- Capture simple product, customer and store-content ideas using a phone
- Support local influencer and creator collaborations when required
- Share local marketing ideas based on customers, mall activity and the surrounding area
- Encourage customers to follow the brand's social media pages
- Support store-specific offers,
campaigns and promotional activities
- Help execute marketing ideas planned for the store
You do not need to be a professional digital marketer for this role. Interest in social media, content creation and local marketing is an added advantage. Who We Are Looking For
- Any completed degree / Plus Two can also be considered based on experience
- Freshers are welcome
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Malayalam
- Basic/good English communication
- Hindi communication is an advantage
- Friendly, confident and presentable
- Customer-focused and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a mall retail workplace
- Interested in sales, social media and local marketing
- Previous retail, sales or footwear experience is an advantage
