Role Description The Relationship Officer – Current Account is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of current account customers, including onboarding new clients, understanding their business needs, and offering appropriate banking solutions.

Daily activities include engaging with customers through meetings and calls, resolving service queries, ensuring timely account operations, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth transaction processing.



The role also involves meeting sales and revenue targets, preparing regular reports on account performance, and maintaining accurate customer records in line with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage and grow client portfolios using strong Business Relationship Management skills.
- Solid understanding of Finance and banking products relevant to current accounts.
- Transparent, professional Communication skills for interacting with business clients and internal teams.
- Customer Service orientation with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and client satisfaction.
- Sales skills to identify opportunities, cross-sell banking products, and achieve business targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in business banking, corporate accounts, or SME relationship management is an advantage.
- Comfort working with banking software and basic MS Office tools, with strong attention to detail and compliance.
