Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Radiologist role based at Sonoclinic Diagnostic Center in Shirur. The Radiologist will perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasound (sonography), mammography, and other imaging modalities as required, ensuring accurate and timely reports.

Responsibilities include reviewing clinical histories, correlating imaging findings with clinical information, and providing transparent, concise diagnostic impressions to referring physicians. The role involves collaborating closely with clinicians and technical staff,



supervising imaging protocols, maintaining high standards of image quality and radiation safety, and supporting preventive health screenings and health check-up packages. The Radiologist will also participate in quality assurance activities, adhere to ethical and regulatory guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of diagnostic services.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in general Medicine with the ability to integrate clinical information into imaging interpretations.
- Proficiency in Radiology and Medical Imaging, including interpretation of X-ray, ultrasound (sonography), and related modalities.
- Experience or training in Mammography, with competency in breast imaging and screening protocols.
- Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine or willingness to develop skills in advanced imaging techniques, where applicable.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency or postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent).
- Valid medical license/registration to practice Radiology as per local regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings clearly to clinicians and patients.
- Familiarity with digital imaging systems (PACS/RIS) and basic IT skills for electronic documentation and reporting.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of imaging guidelines and standards.
