Role Description The Quantity Surveyor will work on-site at Optimum Design’s Noida office in a full-time capacity. This role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), conducting detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and models, and assisting in project cost estimation for structural engineering projects.



The engineer will collaborate with design teams to validate quantities and align estimates with project specifications.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and engineers, updating estimation records, and contributing to tender documentation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ and BBS preparation and project estimation, including quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of civil engineering, structural systems, and construction methodologies.
- Candidates should be proficient in interpreting structural drawings across all project stages, including schematic design, design development, tender, and construction.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in quantity estimation for buildings.
- Proficiency in estimation software, CAD tools, and MS Excel is required.
- Solid attention to detail, ability to work to deadlines, and commitment to quality and safety standards.
