- Help set up our in-house PCB assembly and harness line, including workmanship standards, inspection stages, ESD areas (ANSI/ESD S20.20), process qualification and operator certification.
- Qualify PCB assemblies, harnesses, conformal coating and avionics boxes as per
IPC-A-610 Class 3, J-STD-001 (space addendum) and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
- Support EEE parts selection and screening, guard against counterfeit parts
(AS6081 / AS5553), and keep lot and date-code traceability for every board.
- Review acceptance and qualification test procedures and witness environmental
(MIL-STD-810) and EMI/EMC (MIL-STD-461) tests.
- Support Test Readiness Reviews.
Software and Firmware V&V;
- Review software requirements, test plans and test cases, and ensure traceability.
- Plan, witness and run HILS and SILS tests, including fault-injection and off-
nominal cases.
- Check unit and integration test results, static analysis and code coverage reports,
and raise NCs where necessary.
- Track software problem reports through to closure and verify fixes before release.
- Help build software quality processes in line with DO-178C, DO-254 and NPR
7150.2.
Root Cause and AS9100D
