We are looking for a technically strong and experienced QA Lead who can own quality across our enterprise platform, drive automation, and lead QA initiatives and teams to deliver reliable, high-quality releases.

Role Overview

As a QA Lead, you will own and drive the overall quality strategy for Scikiq's enterprise technology platform. You will lead QA initiatives, mentor and manage QA engineers, establish scalable automation practices, and oversee end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, backend services, integrations, and complex enterprise workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of QA/Quality Engineering experience, including proven leadership experience, with a robust background in B2B enterprise technology platforms, SaaS products, or complex enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive the overall QA strategy, quality roadmap, test approach, and quality processes for the platform.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing technical direction, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Build and maintain a strong QA culture focused on automation, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Define team goals, allocate QA resources, plan testing activities, and ensure timely delivery across releases.
- Lead end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, backend services, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks for functional, regression, API, and integration testing.
- Drive automation coverage and identify opportunities to reduce manual testing through reliable automated solutions.
- Define and maintain test plans, test cases, regression suites, test strategies, and quality metrics.




- Lead API and integration testing for complex enterprise systems and third-party integrations.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify quality risks early and ensure testability of new features.
- Own defect management, including prioritization, root-cause analysis, tracking, and resolution.
- Establish and monitor quality gates and release readiness criteria.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and improve the reliability and efficiency of test execution.
- Analyze production issues and collaborate with Engineering teams on root-cause analysis and preventive measures.
- Establish QA best practices, standards, processes, and documentation across the organization.
- Mentor QA engineers on automation, test design, debugging, API testing, and quality engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Customer-facing teams to understand enterprise use cases and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

- 9+ years of experience in Software QA, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing.
- Proven leadership experience, including leading, mentoring, and managing QA engineers or QA teams.
- Strong experience in B2B enterprise software, SaaS platforms, enterprise technology products, or complex business applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation and automation framework development.
- Experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured,



or equivalent.
- Robust understanding of REST APIs, microservices, databases, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Experience with SQL/database validation and backend testing.

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, or data pipelines.
- Experience setting up or scaling QA teams and processes in a growing technology organization.
- Exposure to security, accessibility, performance, or reliability testing.

Preferred Candidate Background Candidates should ideally come from B2B enterprise technology companies, SaaS platforms, enterprise software products, data/analytics platforms, workflow platforms, or other complex technology products.
