We are looking for a Detail-Oriented QA Engineer to ensure quality standards across projects. The role involves implementing QA processes, conducting inspections, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry and client requirements. The ideal candidate should have a solid eye for detail, knowledge of quality standards, and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

•Prepare, review & approve of the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Work Method statement (WMS), ITP (Inspection test plan), Installation & Operational Qualification protocol, Quality Management System (QMS) SOP’s, HIRA (Hazard identification and risk assessment documents), checklists and project-specific quality requirements.

•Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and customer quality requirements.

•Review welding qualification documents including WPS, PQR, WPQ and WOPQ.

•Coordinate internal quality audits and support external/customer audits.

•Ensure implementation of material traceability requirements throughout project execution

•Review and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs), Certificates of Conformance (CoC), surface finish certificates, cleaning certificates and other manufacturer quality documents for project materials and components.

•Perform components technical specifications verification to ensure compliance with approved specifications.

•Review and approve vendor quality documents, inspection records and manufacturing documentation.

•Coordinate vendor evaluations, supplier quality assessments and quality issue resolution.

•Ensure all required quality documents and inspection records are available prior to fabrication,



installation and dispatch activities.

•Conduct final quality walkdown of completed assemblies, skids, manifolds and systems prior to dispatch.

•Support FAT (If applicable), IOQ, customer inspections and project quality reviews.

•Coordinate dispatch clearance activities by verifying inspection status, documentation completeness, punch point closure and customer-specific quality requirements.

•Review engineering documents from a quality compliance perspective.

•Ensure effective implementation of document control processes and maintenance of quality records.

•Drive continual improvement initiatives within the organization.

•Interface with clients, EPC contractors and consultants on quality-related matters.

•Conduct quality awareness and training programs for project teams.

•Review and approve quality dossiers, manufacturing record books (MRBs), test reports, calibration certificates and turnover documentation prior to release.

•Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing and Project teams for closure of quality-related issues.

•Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely closure, Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementation of Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).

•Periodical clean room requalification and maintaining records.

Qualification and Skills:

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production / industrial engineering.

•3–5 years of experience in QA for Process Equipment, Gas Systems, Semiconductor, EPC projects.

•Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

•Familiarity with ASME B31.3, SEMI Standards, ASTM standards and welding quality requirements.

•Experience in NCR, CAPA, RCA and Internal Audits.

•Strong documentation and customer interaction skills.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in semiconductor fabs, ultra-high purity gas systems, and cleanroom projects. Exposure to process piping, orbital welding quality systems, and high purity stainless steel tubing systems will be an added advantage.
