: QA Automation Engineer (Playwright) 7+ Years Experience

Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality releases, and driving automation best practices across web applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Write and execute automated test scripts for web applications (UI and API testing).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, and maintainability of automation suites.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools,



and standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in QA automation testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience in UI automation and API testing.
- Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
- Experience with test frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other automation tools like Selenium, Cypress.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
- Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Experience in test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports).
