Role Description The PVC Conduit Pipe and Casing Caping Operator is a full time, on-site role based at our manufacturing facility in Yavatmal. The operator is responsible for running and monitoring extrusion and related machinery used in the production of PVC electrical conduit pipes, casing caping, and fittings. Day-to-day activities include setting up machines, adjusting process parameters, feeding raw materials, and ensuring consistent product quality as per ISI and internal standards.

The role involves performing routine checks on dimensions and finish, identifying defects, and coordinating with the quality and maintenance teams to resolve issues.



The operator is also expected to follow safety protocols, maintain cleanliness around equipment, keep basic production records, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications

- Practical experience in operating plastic or PVC extrusion machines, including setup, parameter adjustment, and basic troubleshooting.
- Understanding of quality standards for PVC conduit pipes and fittings, with ability to measure dimensions, inspect surface finish, and follow ISI/ISO requirements.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing equipment, with the ability to work closely with maintenance staff on minor machine issues.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing environment, including safe handling of materials and adherence to company safety guidelines.
- Ability to read and follow production instructions, maintain simple production logs, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Prior experience in plastics, electrical conduit, or related manufacturing is preferred; vocational training or ITI in relevant trades (e.g., plastic processing, fitter, electrician) is an advantage.
- Reliability in working full-time shifts on-site in Yavatmal, with willingness to work in a team, learn new processes, and support continuous improvement activities.
