Role Description The Purchasing Representative is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and optimizing purchasing activities that support client projects and internal operations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and processing purchase orders, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, and maintaining accurate purchasing records. The role involves coordinating procurement timelines, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, and supporting contract negotiation with vendors.

The Purchasing

Representative will collaborate with consulting and operations teams to understand requirements,



resolve order or delivery issues, and provide responsive customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners. The person in this role is expected to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

Qualifications

- Purchasing and Procurement skills, including experience managing vendor relationships and sourcing goods or services.
- Purchase Orders expertise, with the ability to create, review, and track orders accurately in relevant systems.
- Contract Negotiation capabilities to support favorable terms, pricing, and service levels with suppliers.
- Customer Service skills for communicating clearly with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage time independently, and collaborate via digital tools.
- Experience in business consulting, supply chain, or operations support is an advantage.
- Relevant education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
