- Purchase of raw materials (especially steel) and follow up with suppliers for deliveries.
- Identification of sub-contractors / Vendors and distribution of job orders.
- Recent vendor identification.
- Follow up with vendors for sub-contractor items and ensure timely deliveries.
- Identification and supply of bought items.
- Issuing purchase orders and contracts.
- Responsibility of handling stores and inventory for material workflow.
- AS9100 relating to purchase.
- Must be conversant with material specifications, machining methods and qualities.
