Role & responsibilities

- Manage purchasing activities for industrial automation products and electrical components.

- Coordinate with suppliers, dealers, and distributors to obtain quotations and competitive pricing.

- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and maintain purchasing records.

- Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmation, material availability, and delivery schedules.

- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers.

- Procure automation products such as Siemens PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and other electrical components.

- Compare supplier quotations based on price, quality, availability, and delivery timelines.

- Coordinate with the sales, stores, accounts, and dispatch departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.

- Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, invoices,



and order tracking reports.

- Monitor stock requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new vendors.

- Ensure that purchased materials meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

- 24 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the industrial automation industry.

- Knowledge of automation products such as Siemens PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, relays, control panels, and electrical components is preferred.

- Positive negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and email communication.

- Experience in preparing purchase orders and maintaining procurement documentation.

- Strong follow-up, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet delivery deadlines.
