We have urgent opening for position of Purchase Executive.

Designation: Purchase Executive

Location: Umbergaon

Position Overview:

Purchase Executive will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials, equipment and services for firefighting vehicles & systems. Reporting directly to the senior management or Purchase Manager, this role requires expertise in vendor sourcing, negotiation, logistics, and cost management, with a goal on improving supply chain operations & reducing purchase costs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with vendors.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Stores, Production, Accounts, and Quality Control.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, and purchase order documentation.




- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the stores department to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and other purchase-related documents.
- Resolve discrepancies related to quantity, quality, pricing, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify recent vendors.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approval procedures.
- Prepare purchase reports and track pending orders and supplier performance.

Qualifications/Competencies:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement is preferred.
- Knowledge of vendor management, purchase orders, and procurement procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP or inventory management software.
- Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
