1. Job Purpose

To conduct prototype testing, validation, and performance evaluation of battery systems and related components used in electric vehicle (EV) applications. The role involves executing test plans, collecting and analysing test data, identifying failures, and supporting the Engineering and R&D; teams in improving product reliability, safety, and performance.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct prototype testing of battery packs, battery modules, and associated electrical and mechanical components.
- Perform functional, performance, and validation tests as per approved test plans and specifications.
- Assist in testing battery parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, capacity, and charging/discharging performance.
- Operate testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, battery cyclers, data loggers, and other relevant instruments.
- Support testing of Battery Management Systems (BMS), sensors, wiring harnesses, and protection circuits.
- Monitor test parameters and record observations, measurements, and results accurately.
- Identify abnormalities, failures, and deviations during testing and report them to the Engineering team.
- Prepare test reports, maintain test records,



and document results for traceability.
- Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of prototype failures.
- Coordinate with Design, Hardware, Firmware, Quality, and Manufacturing teams for prototype improvements.
- Ensure proper handling of prototypes, tools, instruments, and testing fixtures.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, EHS requirements, and approved testing protocols.
- Maintain the prototype testing area, equipment calibration records, and 5S standards.
- Support design verification, product validation, and engineering trials before production release.

1. Required Skills and Competencies

- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic testing.
- Understanding of lithium-ion batteries, battery packs, and EV systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with voltage, current, resistance, temperature, and capacity measurements.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for data recording and test report preparation.
- Attention to detail and adherence to testing procedures.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

1. Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Instrumentation, or a related field.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
