RLT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated Projects Engineer – Water & Wastewater Treatment to support the planning, engineering, execution, installation, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment projects.

The candidate will work on projects involving Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Demineralization (DM), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, project coordination skills, and the ability to work with engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Execution

- Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and installation activities.
- Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;), equipment layouts, and technical documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays, and support timely project completion.
- Prepare technical specifications, equipment datasheets, Bills of Materials (BOM), and other engineering documents.
- Coordinate piping layouts, equipment positioning, pipe routing, and skid-mounted systems for RO, UF, MBR, and chemical dosing systems.

2. Site Supervision and Commissioning

- Supervise site activities, equipment installation, piping works, and contractor operations.
- Ensure execution complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate equipment testing, system trials, and plant commissioning.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Support process optimization and provide technical assistance during project execution.

3. Vendor and Client Coordination

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors,



and internal engineering teams.
- Review vendor quotations and assist in preparing Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
- Support technical evaluations, equipment selection, and procurement activities.
- Attend project review meetings and prepare progress updates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental regulations and pollution control board requirements.

4. Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain project schedules, site reports, inspection records, and progress documentation.
- Prepare material requirements, equipment lists, and technical reports.
- Track project deliverables and support quality assurance and quality control activities.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and final project handover documents.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects is preferred.
- Freshers with solid technical knowledge may also be considered, depending on project requirements.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of STP, ETP, WTP, RO, UF, DM, MBR, and ZLD systems.
- Understanding of project execution, site supervision, and commissioning activities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, PFDs, and P&IDs.;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and basic engineering design tools is an advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Exposure to EPC project execution, equipment installation, and commissioning.
- Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and clients.
