Role Description The Project Controller is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram, responsible for overseeing financial and operational control of infrastructure projects. The role includes monitoring project budgets, costs, and cash flows, preparing regular financial and progress reports, and ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.

The Project

Controller collaborates closely with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, and finance to track timelines, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.



Day-to-day activities involve analyzing project performance data, managing risk registers, supporting audits, and improving internal controls and reporting processes. The role also contributes to process optimization and supports senior leadership in decision-making through accurate forecasting and data-driven insights.

Qualifications

- Strong project financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in project planning and control tools, such as MS Excel, project management software, and reporting dashboards.
- Ability to interpret contracts, handle documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation abilities with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.
- Experience in infrastructure, power, EPC, or construction projects is highly beneficial.
- Capability to work on-site in Gurugram and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
