- Visit supplier premises when required to check progress, resolve issues, or speed up deliveries.
- Coordinate with Quality on supplier rejections and follow up for replacement or rework.

- Maintain records of on-time delivery and quality performance for each supplier and job-work vendor.
- Support the monthly or quarterly vendor rating process.

- Support new vendor development by sharing requirements and tracking sample or first-lot approvals.

E. Planning Support
- Support the PPC team in preparing material requirement plans (MRP)

based on the order book and production plan.
- Highlight long lead-time items early so purchase orders can be placed on time.
- Update delivery schedules in the ERP system and keep planning data accurate.

F. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on production status, shortages, pending supplier deliveries, and job-work status.
- Maintain a delay log with reasons and actions taken for each order.

1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance is typically measured by on-time machine dispatch against plan, reduction in assembly delays caused by material shortages, supplier on-time delivery percentage, timely return of job-work materials, accuracy of shortage and status reports, and how early delays are flagged before they affect production.
1. Qualification & Experience

- Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
