1. Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and result-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality, and manage shop-floor manpower. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets as per the production plan.
- Manage shop-floor manpower, allocate duties, and monitor employee productivity and attendance.
- Monitor production processes for plastic pipes and fittings, ensuring adherence to approved operating procedures.
- Ensure product quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with established quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team to identify and resolve production-related quality issues.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
- Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials, machinery, manpower, and other production resources.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, rejection reports, downtime records, and material consumption reports.
- Implement 5S, workplace safety practices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor.
- Identify process inefficiencies, reduce wastage, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Conduct shift handovers and communicate production status, pending work, and operational issues to the next shift or reporting manager.




- Train and guide production operators and helpers to improve productivity, quality, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and manufacturing procedures.

1. Educational Qualification

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
- ITI in a relevant technical trade may be considered based on experience and technical competency.

1. Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Experience in plastic pipe and fittings manufacturing will be preferred.
- Candidates with exposure to PVC, CPVC, HDPE, PPR pipes, extrusion processes, or injection moulding will have an added advantage.

- Production planning and shop-floor supervision.
- Manpower handling and team coordination.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Machine operation monitoring and troubleshooting coordination.
- Production reporting and documentation.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Communication, discipline, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, workplace safety, and continuous improvement practices.

1. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Achievement of daily and monthly production targets.
- Reduction in rejection rates and material wastage.
- Machine utilization and reduction in production downtime.
- Product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Manpower productivity and effective resource utilization.
- Compliance with safety standards and SOPs.
- Accuracy and timely submission of production reports.

1. Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be proactive, disciplined, and capable of managing shop-floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with hands-on experience in plastic pipe manufacturing, extrusion, injection moulding, or related production processes will be preferred. Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
