: Production Supervisor – Flour Industry

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Production Supervisor for our flour manufacturing unit in Gajraula. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily production activities, managing manpower, ensuring product quality and food safety, monitoring production efficiency, and maintaining compliance with established SOPs and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily production activities, including wheat cleaning, grinding, sieving, blending, and flour packing operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the daily production plan.
- Monitor machine performance, production yield, process losses, and overall equipment efficiency.
- Manage production manpower, shift allocation, attendance, and work distribution.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, food safety standards, and plant hygiene requirements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor critical process parameters, flour quality, moisture levels, and packing accuracy in coordination with the QA team.




- Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S across the production area.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, downtime reports, wastage reports, and raw material consumption records.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of wheat, flour, and packaging materials to prevent contamination and infestation.
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and product losses.
- Ensure protected working practices and compliance with plant safety procedures.

Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Diploma / Gradutation in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in the flour milling, atta, maida, suji, or food processing industry.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of flour milling operations, production planning, manpower handling, and process monitoring.
- Preferred Knowledge: GMP, GHP, HACCP, 5S, and food safety practices.
- Key Competencies: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.
