Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Planning Manager with 12+ years of experience in machine shop operations, gearbox manufacturing, and CNC production. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, resource utilization, shop-floor management, and timely delivery of production targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on customer requirements and delivery timelines.
- Manage day-to-day production activities in machine shop, gearbox manufacturing, and CNC production operations.
- Monitor production progress and ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, purchase, and stores departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, material availability, and production efficiency.
- Monitor CNC machine operations and ensure effective utilization of production resources.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and production processes.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, rejection rates, downtime, and on-time delivery.




- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce production costs, cycle time, and wastage.
- Lead and manage production teams to achieve operational excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in production planning and manufacturing operations.
- Strong experience in machine shop, gearbox manufacturing, and CNC production.
- Good knowledge of production planning and control (PPC), scheduling, and capacity planning.
- Experience in CNC machining processes and shop-floor operations.
- Strong knowledge of manpower planning, inventory coordination, and material management.
- Ability to manage production targets, delivery schedules, and manufacturing KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
