SUMMARY:

The role will be responsible for coordinating with Contract Manufacturing Partners to ensure our Smartbox Locker products are manufactured and delivered on time, as per approved drawings, product specifications and customer requirements. The role will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Contract Manufacturing Partner teams to ensure the final product meets the required quality, functionality and finish standards.

Our products involve sheet metal fabrication, welding, painting/powder coating,



electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, and functional testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Contract Manufacturer Production Management: Plan, monitor and coordinate daily/weekly production with Contract Manufacturers and ensure committed targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Product Requirement Compliance: Work with Product Managers and Engineering teams to understand detailed customer/product requirements and ensure all requirements are incorporated into the final product.
- Drawing & BOM Control: Ensure Contract Manufacturer is using the latest approved drawings, BOMs, specifications and engineering revisions.
- Manufacturing Quality: Monitor quality across fabrication, welding, painting, wiring, assembly, fit & finish and functional testing.
- Inspection & Acceptance: Establish/monitor inspection checkpoints and ensure products are fully inspected and meet defined quality requirements before acceptance and dispatch.
- Issue Resolution: Identify production and quality issues, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Contract Manufacturer and ensure closure.
- Contract Manufacturer (CM) Performance: Track CM performance on delivery, quality, rejection, rework and responsiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Quality,



Procurement and Operations to resolve production, material, design and quality issues.
- Production Readiness: Ensure required drawings, materials, components, tooling and manufacturing information are available before production starts.
- Reporting: Maintain production status, quality issues, Contract Manufacturer performance and action trackers, and provide regular updates to management.

Requirements

- 5 to 10 years of experience in Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, or Vendor/CM Management.
- Experience in outsourced/contract manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings, BOMs and product specifications.
- Experience with sheet metal or electromechanical products is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Willingness to travel to Contract Manufacturing/factory locations as required.
