- Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

- Plan, monitor, and execute daily production activities as per Spares production schedules.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Service teams for smooth production.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and delivery timelines.
- Identify and resolve production, assembly, and technical issues on the shop floor.
- Monitor rejection, rework, material usage, and production efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, safety, and quality standards.
- Maintain production records, reports, and process documentation.
- Support, process improvement, Spare Production , 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

- 2-4 years of experience in production/manufacturing/assembly.
- Mechanical or Electronics engineering background.
- Good understanding of mechanical assembly and/or electrical/electronic systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.




- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of quality systems, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and team-handling skills.
- Hands-on and proactive approach to shop-floor activities.

Experience in industrial machinery, automation, electromechanical equipment, pharmaceutical machinery, food-processing equipment, or machine manufacturing will be an advantage.
