Production Assistant

Fabrication Production Engineer to manage, plan, and optimize metal fabrication processes (cutting, bending, welding, assembly) to meet production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations. Bridge the gap between design and manufacturing by preparing technical drawings, coordinating with shop floor staff, and improving production efficiency.

- Production Planning: Scheduling and monitoring daily fabrication operations to meet deadlines. Prepare Production repots, KPIs, and documents.
- Technical Oversight: Interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings to guide welding and assembly processes.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished products, verifying welding joints, and conducting non-destructive testing. Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Implementing lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization. Analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols (PPE, machine safety)



and maintaining production machinery.
- Coordination: Coordinate with design, maintenance, quality, and procurement teams to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Creo), knowledge of welding codes (ASME, AWS), and understanding of sheet metal processes. Familiarity with quality tools such as 7 QC tools, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA.
- Experience: ITI candidate with 3 years of experience in the field of manufacturing processes, machining, fabrication, assembly, or CNC operations can be considered.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, team management, and communication skills.
