Synez Technologies is hiring a Product Owner - Pharmacovigilance

Location: 100% Remote

Function: Pharmacovigilance (PV) / Drug Safety

Who we want: Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Clinical Research background with real PV domain experience This role is NOT for a generic product manager. We want someone who understands adverse event reporting, safety data and the regulations around it, and who can turn that knowledge into great software.

What you’ll own

→ The product vision, roadmap and backlog for a patient-centric evidence-generation platform

→ Full delivery of the new PV Reporting and eCRF (electronic Case Report Form) modules

→ Accurate, timely and compliant capture and routing of adverse events and safety data

→ eCRF design that works for patients, caregivers and clinicians while protecting data integrity

→ Building GVP, GCP, GDPR and ISO requirements into product decisions from day one

→ Acting as the bridge between clinical, safety and regulatory SMEs and the engineering team

→ Running agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retros

→ Writing transparent, testable user stories and acceptance criteria

Must-haves

✔ Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in life sciences, health-tech, clinical research or regulated SaaS

✔ Working knowledge of pharmacovigilance and drug-safety reporting, plus the compliance obligations that come with it

✔ Understanding of eCRF, ePRO/PRO, registries or observational study workflows

✔ Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001,



GxP/GCP and GVP

✔ A track record of owning a backlog and shipping features end to end in agile

✔ Strong stakeholder management and the ability to turn complex scientific needs into clear requirements

Good to have

- Hands-on experience with safety databases or adverse-event reporting systems
- Experience with patient-facing or clinician-facing digital health products
- Jira, Azure DevOps or product-analytics tools
- A degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or Clinical Research
- CSPO or SAFe POPM certification

What success looks like The PV Reporting and eCRF modules launch on time, stay compliant and get used. The backlog is clear and prioritised. SMEs and Tech work from one shared set of requirements, so there’s less rework. Data accuracy and usability measurably improve.
