Role Description This is a full time, on-site Procurement Lead role based in Guwahati. The Procurement Lead will oversee ;-

- end-to-end procurement activities, including planning, sourcing, and managing supply of materials and services for SM Developers.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include issuing and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluating suppliers, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
- The role will also involve negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company policies,



and identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency and supply reliability.
- The Procurement Lead will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and project teams to support timely execution of business initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong procurement and purchase management skills, including experience with Procurement and Purchase Orders.
- Candidates should possess supplier management capabilities, including Supplier Evaluation and relationship management skills.
- Candidates should possess contract and commercial acumen, including proficiency in Contract Negotiation.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to support data-driven decision-making and cost optimization.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in procurement within manufacturing, construction, real estate, or related sectors is preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement software will be an advantage.
