1. Job Purpose

To assist the Mother Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, engaging, and child-friendly learning workplace for young children. The Pre-Primary Assistant Teacher will support classroom activities, student care, learning development, and the smooth functioning of daily classroom routines.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Mother Teacher in planning and conducting classroom activities for pre-primary students.

- Support children in developing basic language, numeracy, social, emotional, and motor skills.

- Help prepare teaching-learning materials, worksheets, charts, and activity-based resources.

- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic learning environment.

- Assist children with daily routines, including eating, handwashing, toilet assistance, and personal hygiene, as appropriate.

- Monitor students during classroom activities, playtime, transitions, and school events.

- Encourage children's participation in storytelling, rhymes, music, art and craft, games, and other creative activities.

- Observe children's behaviour and learning progress and communicate relevant observations to the Mother Teacher.

- Assist in maintaining attendance records, student portfolios, classroom displays, and other required documentation.

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children and immediately report any injury, illness, or safety concern to the concerned authority.

- Communicate politely and professionally with parents when authorised by the school.

- Participate in staff meetings,



training sessions, school functions, and other assigned duties.

1. Educational Qualifications

- Minimum qualification: 12th pass; graduation is preferred.

- NTT, ECCE, Montessori, or a relevant early childhood education qualification will be an advantage.

- Prior experience in a pre-primary school is preferred; freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.

- Patience, affection, and a genuine interest in working with young children.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Creativity and the ability to engage children through play-based learning.

- Basic classroom management and organisational skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with the Mother Teacher and the Pre-Primary team.

- Responsible, punctual, attentive, and child-safety conscious.

- Basic computer skills for classroom documentation are desirable.

1. Working Conditions

- Work according to the school's prescribed timings and policies.

- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and discipline.

- Follow all school policies related to child protection, student safety, hygiene, and staff conduct.

- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the school management or reporting authority, as required.

Note: The role primarily involves assisting the Mother Teacher and supporting the overall care, safety, and development of pre-primary students.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
