1. Objective: - To plan, coordinate, monitor, and control production activities to ensure timely production and delivery of products as per customer requirements, while maintaining optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and other resources.

2. Key Responsibilities / Activities

- Production Planning: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, delivery schedules, and available resources.
- Production Scheduling: Prepare machine-wise and process-wise production schedules to achieve production targets.
- Order Tracking: Monitor customer orders from planning to final production and dispatch to ensure timely delivery.
- Material Coordination: Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and Supply Chain departments to ensure the availability of raw materials, components, and other production requirements.
- Production Monitoring: Track actual production against planned production and identify deviations, delays, and bottlenecks.
- Manpower Planning: Coordinate with Production and HR departments to ensure the availability of required manpower as per the production plan.
- Machine Capacity Planning: Monitor machine capacity and utilization to achieve production targets efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Monitor raw material, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods inventory to avoid shortages and excess stock.
- Coordination with Departments: Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Production Reports: Prepare and maintain daily production plans, actual production reports, pending order reports, and plan-versus-actual analysis.
- Delay Analysis: Identify reasons for production delays and coordinate with concerned departments to implement corrective actions.
- Priority Management: Revise production priorities based on urgent customer requirements, material availability, and management instructions.
- Rejection and Rework Monitoring:



Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to monitor rejected and rework materials and assess their impact on production schedules.
- Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate with the Dispatch and Sales departments to ensure finished goods are available as per customer delivery commitments.
- ERP/MIS Updates: Maintain accurate production planning and tracking data in ERP systems and Excel reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce machine idle time, minimize bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
- Documentation: Maintain production schedules, work orders, planning records, and other documents as per company procedures and applicable IMS requirements.
- Management Reporting: Report critical production delays, material shortages, capacity constraints, and delivery risks to the reporting manager.

3. Functional / Technical Competencies

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production flow.
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), work orders, and routing.
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and inventory control.
- Ability to prepare production plans based on demand, capacity, and material availability.
- Understanding of production efficiency, bottleneck analysis, and lead time.
- Knowledge of quality procedures and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
- Ability to prepare and analyse production-related MIS reports.

4. Educational Qualification and Experience

- Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control in a manufacturing industry.
- Additional Requirement: Experience in ERP systems, production tracking, and coordination with cross-functional departments is preferred.

Expected Outcome: Effective production planning, optimum utilization of resources, minimum production delays, controlled inventory, and timely delivery of customer orders. Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
