: Podcast Video Editor

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Podcast Video Editor who can take ownership of the complete post-production of long-form video podcasts - from organising raw footage to delivering the final, ready-to-publish episode.

You will be responsible for creating the podcast teaser, intro and complete episode while maintaining strong storytelling, clean pacing, professional audio and consistent visual quality.

Depending on the episode, the editor may receive either raw multi-camera footage or pre-switched footage. The person should be comfortable working with both.

Key Responsibilities

- Full Podcast Editing
- Edit complete long-form podcast episodes from start to finish.
- Organise footage, audio, graphics and other project assets properly.
- Sync multiple camera angles and external audio when raw multi-camera footage is provided.
- Make intelligent camera switches based on the speaker, reaction, emotion and flow of the conversation.
- Remove unnecessary pauses, repetitions, mistakes, interruptions and weak sections without making the conversation feel unnatural.
- Improve pacing while protecting the speaker’s meaning, tone and context.
- Maintain continuity across cuts and ensure that the episode remains engaging throughout.

Podcast Teaser

- Create a strong teaser using the most interesting, emotional, surprising or high-value moments from the episode.
- Structure the teaser to build curiosity without giving away the complete discussion.
- Use music, sound design, text, graphics and visual pacing where required.
- Work with the content team when moments or timestamps are provided,



while also being able to recommend stronger moments independently.

Podcast Intro and Episode Packaging

- Create or adapt the podcast intro according to the approved format and brand identity.
- Integrate the opening hook, teaser, intro animation, host and guest introduction, main conversation, promotional sections and outro smoothly.
- Add name straps, topic cards, chapter markers, logos, disclaimers and calls to action wherever required.
- Maintain consistent fonts, colours, transitions and visual language across episodes.

Audio and Visual Quality

- Clean and balance dialogue audio, reduce background noise and maintain consistent audio.
- Correct colour and exposure differences between cameras and apply a consistent final look.
- Use B-roll, screenshots, images, headlines or supporting graphics only when they improve understanding or engagement.
- Avoid unnecessary effects, distracting transitions and over-editing.
- Ensure subtitles, graphics and on-screen information are accurate and free from spelling errors.

Delivery and File Management

- Export the final podcast in the required platform and quality specifications.
- Maintain organised project files, clear folder structures and correct file names.
- Save project files so another editor can understand and continue the work if required.
- Manage revisions carefully and ensure that approved changes are included in the final version.
- Archive final projects,



masters and supporting assets according to the company’s system.

Short-form reels and clips may occasionally be required, but the primary responsibility of this role is complete long-form podcast post-production.

Required Skills

- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition, or equivalent tools
- Experience with multi-camera editing and audio-video synchronisation
- Strong understanding of conversational pacing, storytelling and viewer retention
- Ability to clean dialogue audio and maintain consistent sound levels
- Knowledge of colour correction and matching footage from different cameras
- Good visual judgement for B-roll, graphics, text and music
- Strong attention to detail, including names, facts, subtitles and continuity
- Ability to receive feedback professionally and execute revisions accurately
- Ability to manage large footage files and multiple projects responsibly

What We Are Looking For

- 2–3 years of complete podcast editing experience
- Reliability, ownership and the ability to work within defined timelines
- A balance of creative judgement and technical discipline

Employment Conditions

- This is a full time, work-from-office role in Sector 61, Gurugram.
- The role follows a six-day working schedule.
- The selected candidate must work exclusively with the company during employment.
- Freelancing, part-time work, paid consulting, running an outside business or accepting other monetary assignments will not be permitted.
- The candidate must be comfortable working on long-form projects that require concentration, patience and multiple review rounds.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
