? Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Polymer, Plastics or a related engineering discipline
?? Experience: 12-15 years in manufacturing, preferably in PVC/HDPE pipes, plastic extrusion or polymer processing.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Plant Manager to oversee the overall operations of our PVC pipes and fittings manufacturing plant, ensuring production efficiency, product quality, cost control, workplace safety and timely dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage and monitor daily production schedules based on sales requirements.
- Supervise PVC pipe extrusion, injection moulding and related manufacturing processes.
- Ensure product quality, dimensional accuracy, weight,
pressure ratings and compliance with applicable standards.
- Optimise machine utilisation, production output and manpower productivity.
- Monitor raw material consumption, rejection, wastage, downtime and manufacturing costs.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase, Sales and Logistics teams.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and timely resolution of machinery breakdowns.
- Maintain production records, inventory reports and operational performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable BIS standards, safety regulations and company procedures.
- Lead production supervisors, operators and technicians to achieve plant targets.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and process optimisation initiatives.
