: Pilot Plant Operator (Reactor Operator)

Job Responsibilities

- Reactor Operation: Operate glass-lined and stainless-steel reactors as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Process Monitoring: Monitor reaction temperature, pressure, stirring speed, reaction time, and pH, as applicable.
- Process Operations: Perform heating, cooling, stirring, solvent charging, and distillation as per approved batch instructions.
- Material Charging: Handle and charge raw materials, solvents, and process chemicals according to manufacturing instructions and safety procedures.
- Equipment Cleaning: Clean reactors and associated equipment as per established cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Equipment Inspection: Check reactors, valves, pipelines, agitators, and associated equipment for proper functioning.
- Documentation:



Maintain batch manufacturing records, equipment cleaning records, and process activity logs.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow plant safety procedures, SOPs, GMP requirements, and chemical handling guidelines.

Required Experience and Skills
- Hands-on experience in reactor operation within an API pharmaceutical pilot plant or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Practical knowledge of glass-lined and stainless-steel reactors.
- Understanding of batch processing, solvent handling, distillation, and process parameter monitoring.
- Knowledge of equipment cleaning, chemical safety, and GMP documentation.
