Pharmacy Aide – Front-End Pharmacy Sales

Key Responsibilities

- Attend customers at the pharmacy counter and understand their requirements.
- Support front-end sales of medicines, OTC products, FMCG, personal care and healthcare products.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide product information as per pharmacy guidelines.
- Read and understand prescriptions and coordinate with the Pharmacist wherever required.
- Ensure prescriptions are properly handled and submitted to the Pharmacist for dispensing.
- Handle billing, cash/UPI payments and customer transactions accurately.
- Maintain proper arrangement and display of medicines and other products.
- Follow FIFO / FEFO practices and monitor near-expiry products.
- Check stock availability and inform the Pharmacist/Store In-charge about shortages.
- Support stock receiving, checking, shelf arrangement and store housekeeping.
- Encourage appropriate alternative products when the requested product is unavailable, only as permitted by the Pharmacist and applicable regulations.




- Maintain good customer relationships and provide courteous service.
- Follow all pharmacy SOPs, billing procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support the Store In-charge in achieving daily sales and customer-service targets.

Candidate Profile
- Qualification: 10th / 12th / Any Degree / D.Pharm candidates can apply.
- Experience: 0–10 years in pharmacy, medical store, retail or front-end sales.
- Freshers with a willingness to learn are welcome.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of medicines and healthcare products is an advantage.
- Basic computer/billing knowledge preferred.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Candidates who can work effectively in a team and maintain discipline are preferred.
