Role Overview

Manage the hospital pharmacy, ensuring accurate dispensing, proper medicine storage and reliable stock availability. Coordinate with doctors, nursing teams and suppliers to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately against authorised prescriptions.
- Guide patients on prescribed dosage, usage and storage.
- Manage pharmacy billing and maintain accurate dispensing records.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, expiry dates and medicine availability.
- Coordinate procurement, supplier orders, returns and stock replenishment.




- Maintain appropriate storage conditions, including cold-chain requirements.
- Maintain required registers and records for controlled medicines.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Coordinate with doctors and nursing teams for OPD, IPD and OT medicine requirements.
- Follow pharmacy procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm with valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
- Preferably 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Knowledge of medicines, inventory management and pharmacy billing software.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills and accountability.
- Willingness to work hospital shifts.
